Corrupted, senseless, rude, chaotic, and mismanaged Foreign Regional Registration Office on the earth (CHENNAI)
There are many more words that I can explain about Chennai FRRO staff’s negative actions with foreign national who goes there to get their legal immigration process.
Every day foreigners in need to obtain their legal immigration permit visit Chennai FRRO with hope and confident at least they will operate with bare minimum office standards, but there is neither a designated public toilet nor a small tap for drinking water. Every person goes there wait minimum 3 hours on their every visit and most individuals made to go there three to five times to obtain their final permits.
Recently when we have visited FRRO Chennai, noticed that the ways of officer’s attitude towards every applicant is negative, unless people sprinkle some rupee for their expensive cell phone purchase or we have to behave in front of the FRRO staff like slaves of India, then the staff will be happy and process the application at least after due date.
The FRRO officers clearly have false impression that we beg for Indian permits, extension or any legal request permitted by BOI according to the Indian immigration law.
There are lots of software professional s in India bringing billions of foreign funds, but at the same time there are millions of beggars in Indian soil growing like mushrooms every day, even in front of Shastri Bhavan where the FRRO office located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Please note ( I didn’t mean the FRRO staff as beggers, because they are inside Shastri Bhavan)
We as every foreigner especially from developed country nationals visit India for professional, cultural, or holiday that boosts Indian economy in every corner and we never want to be treated like one of your own Indian beggars.
Most of Chennai FRRO staff needs to be trained at least how to communicate with people; they should learn how to treat people as human beings and first of all they should behave as human beings.
We hope you ( Regional Director) is a broadminded individual and an officer in charge will never let most FRRO staff to perform as they are now, and I don’t want to hurt somebody's feelings or it is not my intention to offend anyone at Chennai FRRO principally.
I wish the officer in charge of FRRO will understand the fact that why I should write a comment like this on the internet and hope this comments would bring some positive changes so that people who goes there in the future will be treated with stateliness and respect which they always deserve as everyone in this world.
